Professional Expert Group

The Altogether Autism Professional Expert Group have now been appointed and met for the first time on 4 April 2008.

  • The Professional Expert Group operates under terms of reference and ensures that the knowledge base of Altogether Autism is current and evidence based
  • In addition they provide advice to the Clinical Consultant on complicated information requests
  • Critically review recent publications and research
  • Make topical presentations at network meetings

The members appointed are:

Phillipa ClarkSenior Lecturer in Developmental Paediatrics, University of Auckland and Developmental Pediatrician, Starship Children's Health, Auckland
Jenny GibbsClinical Psychologist, Child Development Centre, Waikato DHB
Nic McKenzieIndependent contractor, special interests in ASD and communication/behaviour, speech language therapy background, also works for IDEA Services as project leader
